All services are provided by licensed, insured electricians in accordance with applicable electrical codes and regulations.

2. ESTIMATES AND QUOTES

Free Estimates: We provide free, no-obligation estimates for most electrical projects. Estimates are based on information provided by the client and initial assessment.

Accuracy: Estimates are approximate and may change based on unforeseen conditions discovered during work, including but not limited to hidden wiring issues, code violations requiring correction, or structural complications.

Acceptance: Written or verbal acceptance of an estimate constitutes agreement to proceed with services at the quoted price, subject to any necessary adjustments as described above.

Emergency Services: Emergency service calls may have different pricing structures than standard services. We will provide pricing information before commencing emergency work whenever possible.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment Due: Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.

Accepted Methods: We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, and digital payment methods.

Deposits: For large projects, we may require a deposit before beginning work. Deposit amounts will be specified in the written estimate or contract.

Late Payments: Invoices not paid within 30 days of completion may be subject to late fees of 1.5% per month (18% annual percentage rate) or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is less.

Collections: If we must engage collection services or legal action to recover unpaid amounts, you agree to pay all associated costs, including reasonable attorney fees and court costs.

Disputes: Any billing disputes must be raised within 15 days of invoice date. We will work with you to resolve discrepancies promptly.

4. PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS

Permit Responsibility: We will obtain all required electrical permits for work performed. Permit fees are included in estimates unless otherwise noted.

Inspection Coordination: We coordinate all necessary electrical inspections with local building departments and ensure work meets code requirements.

Access Required: Client must provide reasonable access to the property for inspectors during normal business hours.

Failed Inspections: If inspections fail due to conditions not caused by our work (such as pre-existing code violations in areas outside our scope), additional charges may apply for correction work.

5. SCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS

Scheduling: Service appointments are scheduled based on availability. We make every effort to arrive within scheduled time windows.

Delays: While we strive for punctuality, unforeseen circumstances (emergencies, weather, traffic, or prior job complications) may cause delays. We will notify you of significant delays as soon as possible.

Cancellations by Client: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee.

Cancellations by Us: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to emergencies, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.

Utilities: You are responsible for ensuring safe access to utility shut-offs if required for the work.

Pets and Children: Please secure pets and keep children away from work areas for their safety and to allow our technicians to work efficiently.

Information Accuracy: You must provide accurate information about your electrical system, property conditions, and project requirements.

Permits and Approvals: If you are not the property owner, you must obtain necessary permissions from the owner before we begin work.

7. WARRANTIES

Labor Warranty: We provide a lifetime labor warranty on all work we perform. If there is ever an issue with our workmanship, we will return and make it right at no charge.

Indirect Damages: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or data loss.

Third-Party Claims: We are not responsible for claims arising from actions or omissions of third parties, including previous contractors, property owners, or other service providers.

10. PROPERTY DAMAGE

Care of Property: We take reasonable precautions to protect your property during service, including using drop cloths, floor protection, and careful handling of materials.

Unavoidable Damage: Some electrical work requires accessing walls, ceilings, or other structures. Minor cosmetic damage (small holes for wire access, paint touch-up needs) may be unavoidable and is not included in electrical service pricing unless specifically agreed upon.

Drywall Repair: We can coordinate drywall repair or provide referrals, but standard electrical services do not include drywall patching, painting, or finish work unless specifically included in the estimate.

Pre-Existing Damage: We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions discovered during work.

Claims: Any property damage claims must be reported to us within 7 days of service completion.

11. EMERGENCY SERVICES

Response Time: We make every effort to respond to emergencies within 2 hours. Response times may vary based on location, weather, and current service calls.

Pricing: Emergency service rates may differ from standard service rates. We will provide pricing information before beginning work whenever possible.

Scope: Emergency services focus on making situations safe and restoring power. Permanent repairs or upgrades may require follow-up appointments.

When to Call 911: If you have an active electrical fire or immediate life-threatening situation, call 911 first, then contact us for post-emergency electrical assessment and repair.

12. CODE COMPLIANCE

Standards: All work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local electrical codes, and applicable regulations.

Changes: If code requirements change between estimate and installation, we reserve the right to adjust work scope to maintain compliance.
